Burns Lake Job Fair Connects the Community with Career Opportunities
Looking for a new career opportunity or interested in building new skills? The Burns Lake Job Fair is bringing employers, job seekers, and community members together for two days of networking, learning, and exploring what’s ahead for the region’s workforce.
Taking place October 6 and 7 at The Gathering Place, 675 Highway 16 in Burns Lake, the job fair will feature industry employers and service providers offering information about current and upcoming career opportunities, training, education, and hands-on learning.
Whether you’re an experienced worker looking for a change, a young person exploring your first career, or someone hoping to develop new skills, the event is a chance to meet directly with employers, learn what opportunities are available locally, and get your foot in the door.
The job fair will run October 6 from 11 AM to 7 PM and October 7 from 9 AM to 2 PM. Attendees can explore job opportunities, connect with local industry, and discover programs and hands-on learning opportunities that can help build their skills for the future. Appetizers and drinks will also be provided.
The event is open to everyone in the community, so anyone interested in learning more about employment and career opportunities in the region is encouraged to attend.
