Northen Health is advising Fraser Lake and area residents that the Emergency Department services at Fraser Lake Healthy Centre.
Will be unviable starting Monday August 31st till Friday September 4th.
Once again due to staffing challenges
However this dose not affect the Fraser Lake Health Centre’s primary Care clinic.
It will be will be open for its regular hours – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
In response to the ER service interruptions, additional drop-in medical appointment times have been added at the clinic for those suffering sudden onset of minor symptoms
Like sore throat, earache, and minor injuries.
Additional appointments are available on the dates of Monday August 31 till Friday September 4 from 9am – 11 am.
People in the Burns Lake area who need life-threatening emergency care like chest pains, difficulty breathing, or severe bleeding should call 9-1-1 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility.
