There’s nothing quite like Fair season in the Bulkley Valley, and this year, CFNR is getting right in the middle of it!
From August 27–30, the 107th BVX Fair takes over Smithers with four days of rides, rodeo, live entertainment, animals, food, vendors, competitions and plenty of things to see and do for the whole family.
You’ll find the Shooting Star Amusements Midway & Carnival, BCRA Rodeo, Loggers Sports, the BV District 4-H Achievement Show & Auction Sale, Light and Draft Horse Shows, Hall Exhibits and the Vendor Mall. For the kids, there’s a Petting Zoo, Uncle Chris the Clown and Yukon Dan Gold Panning.
The Main Stage will also be keeping things going with performances from Mark Perry, Eagle Eyes and Rick Stavely.
And before the Fair officially gets underway, don’t miss the BVX Parade on Wednesday, August 26th at 7 PM!
As for admission, weekend passes are $45 for adults and $30 for youth and seniors, while day passes are $15 for adults and $10 for youth and seniors. Kids 12 and under get in free.
Want to save on your admission? You can also volunteer. Put in 4 hours and receive a day pass, or volunteer for 16 hours and get a weekend pass.
And of course, CFNR will be LIVE ON LOCATION Thursday, August 27th! Stop by, say hello and come hang out with the CFNR crew while you take in everything the BVX has to offer.
