The Adams Lake Indian Band is hosting an event from June 11th to 13th called “Walking Our Spirits Home” The event is to mark
the dark legacy of Residential Schools by calling back the spirits from those schools to begin a journey of healing.
The 3 day event from June 11th to the 13th will feature a 60 kilometre walk/run or horseback journey from Kamloops to Chase.
This journey will include a stop at the building that once housed the Kamloops Residential School.
Traffic should please be aware of the walkers, runners and horseback riders.
CFNR will be at this event covering it and proudly supports the event: Walking Our Spirits Home.
