Prince George RCMP have begun the process of seeking witnesses to a physical altercation that occured in the community this past weekend.
On Friday October 4th at approximately 11:20 p.m. two people were involved in a physical altercation near 20th Avenue and Redwood Street. 35 year old Gregory Wale was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Wale left on his own accord before receiving medical attention.
Just before 7 p.m. on October 5th Wale was found dead in his residence on Edmonton Street. The cause of his death is believed to be related to the altercation.
Prince George RCMP’s serious crime unit has been called in to lead the investigation. Investigators believe that many people witnessed this altercation and are being urged to come forward and provide information.
