Alleged Tumbler Ridge shooting co-conspirator James Bryant, also known as Melody,
Has pleaded not guilty in a U-S court after being accused of aiding the shooter in the Tumbler Ridge mass shooting.
Bryant made a brief arraignment appearance in Seattle today, and the trial was scheduled to begin on December 21st.
Bryant was indicted last week over Discord messages with shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar from the months leading up to the tragedy.
They show Bryant providing advice on where to attack and which weapons to use, and sending money to complete an explosive device.
They also reveal Bryant helping to plan and set up a livestream of the shooting, which was quickly taken down.
Pictures sent between the two also show a heavily modified SKS rifle used in the shooting, which advocates are now calling on Ottawa to ban.
Public Safety Canada says their firearm classification panel will look into doing just that in the coming weeks.
