The quarterly Climate Action Tax Credit will be deposited on January 3, providing an average of $440 for individuals without children, $680 for single-parent families, and $613 for multi-parent households. Families could receive up to $3,563 annually, with payments issued around the 20th of each month. Other provincial initiatives include increased minimum wage, lower car insurance rates, reduced child care fees, free transit for kids, capped rent hikes, and a new tax credit for renters that could return up to $400 a year. Residents can learn more and access benefits online through the BC Benefits Connector or by calling Service BC.
