Remains found on the shore of the Fraser River have been identified as missing person Darryl Leblanc Jr. of Quesnel.
On Feb 25. a hiker on the shore of the Fraser River reported finding human remains. With the assistance of the RCMP Forensic Identification section and B.C. Coroners Service the body was identified.
Darryl Leblanc Jr. had been reported missing by his father January 24, 2020 after he was last seen December 30, 2019.
The Quesnel RCMP would like to thank the public for the tips provided during the investigation as well as thoughts and prayers going out to Leblanc’s friends and family.
