Three Northern Colleges are among 19 institutions across BC receiving funding to improve access to trades and technology-related equipment.
Coast Mountain College, Northen Lights College, and the College of New Caledonia will each receive 160 thousand dollars from the funding.
In total, 3 million dollars will go towards bringing state-of-the-art training equipment to post-secondary institutions in the province.
Over all, the province expects more than 82 thousand tech related job openings and 71 thousand trades openings over the next decade.
